Negeri Sembilan Umno has withdrawn its support for Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun, who is from Pakatan Harapan.
Its chairperson, Jalaluddin Alias, said the decision was made unanimously by all 14 state assemblypersons due to their loss of confidence in Aminuddin’s leadership.
He told a press conference that an official letter will be sent to the state speaker after the event.
Jalaluddin also said that Negeri Sembilan Umno had only become aware of the ongoing royal dispute when it became public knowledge.
Nineteen seats are needed to form a government in Negeri Sembilan, and Harapan only has 17 - meaning BN’s exit will cause the state government to collapse.

There are two possible scenarios following this.
The first is that BN may compel Harapan to support one of its assemblypersons to become menteri besar to keep the Madani pact intact.
The second is that BN can team up with Perikatan Nasional, which has five seats, leading to the collapse of the Madani coalition at the state level. - Mkini
