India's Untouchables! Watch this video! Be Shocked!

This is one video that slaps us awake! Despite the year being 2012 and having the latest advanced modern technology to help us do things that generations before us did not even dream of ever coming to be true, over in tumultuous, ever in turmoil Indian sub-continent, still rages the flames of caste differences and blatant unbelievable discrimination's and injustice scorching the lives of hundreds of millions of suffering souls!


This full length documentary running for 1 hour 50 minutes and 36 seconds will jar you awake to the realities of life oppressing hundreds of millions of all kinds of 'Untouchables' ~ Harijans, Dalits, Parayans, Dom, etc. even as we speak , right up to this second over there in India far away from the shores of our Malaysian peninsular.

I recall the brouhaha that erupted here in our own country when a secondary school Malay literature textbook titled 'Interlok' containing the word 'Pariah' @ a term referring to one such lower caste in the Indian motherland society caused so many of the Malaysian Indians to protest and ask that the entire novel be banned and withdrawn from the Malaysian secondary school curriculum altogether!

National Laureate Datuk Abdullah Hussain was moved to tears trying to explain that he had no ulterior motive in using the word but was just trying to portray reality back then as he knew it.


The Education Ministry eventually withdrew the novel so as to end the controversy but that doesn't erase the fact that the said word is just one out of so many other caste names still existent and practiced in India as we all can see in the documentary above!

The MIC @ Malaysian Indian Congress might claim that such caste issues are all a thing of the past as far as Malaysian Indian society is concerned but that does not hide the fact that even to this day, the dominant Malaysian Indian political party is still led by those like Datuk G. Palanivel himself is from the Muthaliyar higher caste and the late IPF @ Indian Progressive Front President Tan Sri M.G.Pandithan who was a lower caste Indian died a  heartbroken man after failing to take over from the then longest in term MIC President, Datuk Seri S.Samy Velu who hailed from the Devar clan, another high caste in Indian society.

Even the deposed MIC Deputy President Datuk S.Subramaniam belongs to the Gounder caste, another high caste Malaysian Indian politician.


No matter how we look at it, as long as Indians keep harping on their ancestry and keep practicing their inherited customs and differentiate between each other according to their respective castes, this wedge between them will forever be there? Right up to Doomsday!

If only the Indians over there in the Republic of India could slowly but surely change their ways for the better?


The chart below shows us how the caste system in India remains regardless of their ethnic varieties, educational level or economic status?

Personally, I don't see this change within the next 50 or even hundred years!


It was an eye opener to learn that there are also caste differences amongst the Sikhs! Didn't know such a thing existed!


The segment about the caste system also being practiced amongst the Indian Muslims over there in India really shocks me! 


I didn't know that there have been brutal fights between them just because some of those Indian Untouchables who had converted to Islam had prayed at the front saff @ row at the masjids?


Its a pity that they continue to be ostracized by those fellow Muslims who carry the Syed, Syeikh, etc. ancestral names?


There are a whole lot of confused Muslims out there in the world and I am so sad for them and their living in ignorance!


They do not practice true Islam as enjoined by Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, the Blessed Prophet of Allah for all mankind!

We may be praying besides each other in rows but are our hearts similarly aligned towards glorifying Allah?

"O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I don't know whether, after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you carefully and TAKE THIS WORDS TO THOSE WHO COULD NOT BE PRESENT HERE TODAY.


O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. 


Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your LORD, and that HE will indeed reckon your deeds. ALLAH has forbidden you to take usury (Interest), therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived...


Beware of Satan, for your safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.


O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have right over you.If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. 


Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers.And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to commit adultery.


O People, listen to me in earnest, whorship ALLAH, say your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadhan, and give your wealth in Zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to. 


You know that every Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. 


YOU ARE ALL EQUAL. NOBODY HAS SUPERIORITY OVER OTHER EXCEPT BY PIETY AND GOOD ACTION.


Remember, one day you will appear before ALLAH and answer for your deeds. So beware, do not astray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.


O People, NO PROPHET OR APOSTLE WILL COME AFTER ME AND NO NEW FAITH WILL BE BORN.Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand my words which I convey to you. 


I leave behind me two things, the QUR'AN and my example, the SUNNAH and if you follow these you will never go astray.


All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me direcly. BE MY WITNESS O ALLAH THAT I HAVE CONVEYED YOUR MESSAGE TO YOUR PEOPLE."
