IPOH: The family of the Form Five pupil who was killed after being hit by a car near SMK Jati here has urged the people to take down all videos which depict the final moments of the 17-year-old.
Zarul Fitri Muhd Zamrie, the elder brother of the late Muhammad Zaharif Affendi, made a plea for the videos to be deleted or taken down.
"The videos will trigger our emotions if we see them, reminding us of the tragedy," he told a press conference after a visit by the Home Minister's political secretary Johari Kassim in Taman Chepor Sentosa here on Monday (Dec 18).
Earlier on Monday, Deputy Superintendent Mohd Nazri Abdul Razak, 44, was charged at the Magistrate's Court here with the murder of Muhammad Zaharif.
DSP Mohd Nazri was said to have committed the offence on Jalan Jati 1 near the secondary school on Dec 15 between 12.05pm and 12.40pm.
Zarul Fitri said his family has accepted that Muhammad Zaharif is no longer with them. - Star
