Aminuddin Harun has poured cold water on rumours that a ministership is on the horizon for the Negeri Sembilan menteri besar following the recent resignations of two cabinet members.
The PKR vice-president reportedly quipped that he was not even on the list of leaders who might replace outgoing Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli and Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability Minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad.
"I am not lobbying for any position and I leave it to the prime minister to decide.
"My name is not even (on the list), so don't worry," he said, as quoted by Sinar Harian.
Aminuddin was speaking to reporters after an event at Negeri Sembilan Sports Complex, Seremban, yesterday.

Rumours have been circulating that Aminuddin was among those Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim might choose to take over Rafizi's job.
He had quashed similar hearsay last year, calling it "a naughty joke".
