But a bomb disposal unit later found only flour and plastic plates in the packages, say state police.

Negeri Sembilan police chief Alzafny Ahmad said police had received five reports in Nilai and four in Tampin about the packages.
All the packages were similar in shape and content. They had reportedly been left in the school compounds for some time before the authorities lodged reports because the named recipients had not claimed them.
“The bomb disposal unit found no explosives or dangerous materials inside. “The packages contained wheat flour and plastic plates,” he said in a statement today.
Alzafny said police would investigate who sent the packages and why.
Social media users reported that at least five schools received the packages, and police and K9 units were seen at the schools. - FMT
