KAJANG: Police have arrested a woman for beating a college student with a book and damaging her mobile phone here on Thursday (Aug 3).
Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zaid Hassan said the incident occurred at around 2pm on Thursday.
"We received a police report from the 20-year-old female college student who claimed that a woman in her 50s had approached her to borrow her mobile phone to make a call.
"She told the woman she was using the device for her studies when the woman grabbed it and threw it on the road causing it to be damaged," he said in a statement on Saturday.
