NOTHING HAS CHANGED EXCEPT PAKATAN DAP

The Pakatan DAP has just been kicked in the backside. They lost three states and have suffered serious erosion of support in Selangor and Penang.

Say what you want but at the end of the day it is the number of seats won. And the PN won 146 out of 245 seats they contested, a 60% approval rating by the voters. Malay heartland or no Malay heartland these are the same voters you will face in 2027.

As for UMNO they won 14 of their 21(?) seats in one state Negeri Sembilan. ZERO seats in Kedah and Terengganu.

More than 24 hours have gone by since the polls. Has anything changed? Jo Ghani says the top leadership of UMNO should accept responsibility. Meaning what? Seppuku? That would be one way of accepting responsibility. Maybe plastic surgery to alter their faces? Make their faces unrecognisable like that dope? Nothing has changed.

Madani does not seem to know what happened. 'Oh we accept the peoples decision'. As though you have any other choice? Of course you have to accept the peoples' decision. They have just kicked you in the butt.

There is no more PH. It is now Pakatan DAP. The latest kerfuffle is Negeri Sembilan. There is no clear cut winner in the 36 seat assembly. They need at least 19 seats to form the gomen. UMNO is insisting the new Menteri Besar must be from UMNO.  UMNO (BN) has 14 seats, PH has 16 seats (ie DAP has 11 seats, PKR has 4 seats and Amanah has only 1 seat). UMNO must work with the DAP in Negeri Sembilan. PN won five seats.

In case things do not work out the UMNO boys have already threatened that they will 'boleh berbincang dengan pihak sana mengenai gabungan baru di negeri ini'. Pihak sana referring to PN !! I am sure with their 16 seats, the Pakatan DAP will want to name the Menteri Besar.  So is the Pakatan DAP already cracking up in Negeri?

The DAP is much more stronger in Selangor and Penang. In Penang the DAP has 19 seats while PKR has only seven seats. (Amanah 1, UMNO 2).  PN has 11 seats. It is a solid Pakatan DAP in Penang. The PKR just have to toe the DAP line in Penang.

And in Selangor now DAP leads PKR with 15 seats compared to PKR's 12 seats. (Amanah 5, UMNO 2).

PKR has suddenly become junior partner to DAP in Selangor, Penang and Negeri Sembilan. It is Pakatan DAP that is in charge now. No more Pakatan Harapan.

This is actually very good for business in Penang, Selangor and Negeri Sembilan. The Chinese business community will like this. I wont complain too much either. What is good for business is good for everyone.

Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu will remain in the Stone Age. Langkawi may revert to beras terbakar. Only Kulim remains a bright spark because of that High Tech Park and its proximity to Penang.

Nothing else has changed. I will say more later.
