Regular reader Sam sent me the following (thank you Sam).
Dear Sir,
Good day to you. I would like bring your attention to the above matter and some related stuff.
Just look at these boot l----rs! Classic case of kera di hutan disusukan dan anak di rumah kebuluran!
Instead of making life easier for fellow Malaysians who work their guts out daily in Singapore, these fellas are more interested in making life easier for Singaporeans. Why cant they have an ID Card system for Malaysians working in Singapore? Just scan and enter like masuk stesen MRT. Whats the problem?
Why isnt the Malaysian govt demanding better facilities for the 300,000 Malaysians who travel daily for work to Singapore? Remember these people are helping the Malaysian evonomy by bringing in a lot of income to be spent here in Malaysia. But the federal govt seems to treat them like dirt!
The Johor MB can do only so much but what is the Mak Dani doing?
(OSTB : Mak Dani? Madani?)
I hope you can kindly highlight this matter in your blog. These are our people, Chinese, Malay and Indians, Ibans and others who sacrifice so much to bring income into the country and also uplift the economy.
And another point is that if the 1R want to get involved in the running of the country then they too should be prepared for public scrutiny and criticism.
Likewise if they get involved in politics then they must prepared to shed the 1R from the 3R - otherwise dont get involved.
Now the Singaporeans too are taking us for a ride. Guess whose trucks laden with grass, sand and gravel forms a snake line at the Causeway daily? Hundreds of trucks daily my good Sir! In short Johor's natural assets are being sold off daily and here you have people screaming Save Palestine without realising their own interests are being swept off right under their feet! What a bunch of idiots.
And now we have this madani fella who no doubt will kow tow even more to the 1Rs. This is a serious matter which will be besieging the nation soon...believe you me.
Thank you for speaking your mind on a variety of issues without fear or favour. Aporeciate your honesty and dedication.
Sam
My Comments :
Its been a long day today and we just got home about 4.30pm. The day got off to a great start. Early this morning I did my rounds again for almost an hour at the Seremban Lake Gardens.
Followed by a super duper breakfast. It was just great.
There were three of us lah.
Then we were in Selayang around lunch. I was greeted by a polite gentleman who said he was my blog reader. Thank you sir.
From after lunch, the day has been wet and overcast. I would not use the word gloomy. Different people react differently to the change in the ionisation of the atmosphere between sunny days and thunder stormy rainy days. Some people react poorly to overcast skies and thunderstorms - hence the "gloomy skies". Other people react well to overcast skies and thunderstorms. I am one such person. If you get the opportunity go into the jungle, wait for it to rain heavily and then try walking in the rain in the jungle. Dont worry you will not get killed. It is quite an experience. Just beware the leeches.
Back to Sam's comments above. Thank you Sam.
In the old days we used to have border passes between Thailand and Malaysia. Malaysian citizens who are natives of border States (Perlis, Kedah, Perak, Kelantan) and also Thai people along the border with Malaysia could apply for border passes with which they could travel across the border easily for work and trade.
Malaysia and Singapore should work out a border pass system whereby Malaysians and Singaporeans can just swipe a magnetic card and enter each others countries. With biometrics (retina scanners, facial recognition etc) this should be an easy thing to do. Any crony Datos and Tan Sris reading this listen up - there is a multi billion Ringgit contract here. Do think about it. I am referring to the multi-billions. And it will be extremely useful for the economies of both Malaysia and Singapore. (Instead of fleecing tax payers money on digital id, renewable energy, global warming, carbon capture crap etc)
I hope the Singaporeans come to their senses too. There should not be barriers between Singapore and Malaysia. Just some minimal formalities will do.
I have different views on selling sand, soil, grass etc to Singapore. Let them have it. If they want water just sell it to them. Agree on a workable price and work out a deal. Sell them electricity as well but be careful on the renewables - it comes with a lot of bullshit attached. Singapore is our neighbour, and we are Singapore's neighbour. Enrich thy neighbours. Both ways. We have to appreciate that Singapore gives employment to 300,000 Malaysians. Singapore has to appreciate that they have easy access to 300,000 Malaysian workers. Lets keep moving forward.
Shall I suggest something really scary for Singapore? Those 300,000 Malaysians working in Singapore should form a worker's union - in Malaysia. In Johor Bharu. Persatuan Pekerja Malaysia Di Singapura. And they should speak with one voice and ask for things that are reasonable for example magnetic swipe card Border Passes for Malaysians working in Singapore. I am sure Home Affairs and the Foreign Ministry in Singapore read my Blog. We drink the same water lah.

Some folks just cannot resist having their bread buttered on both sides.
Especially when the butter and the bread are paid for by others.
I am a firm believer in democracy. The peoples' mandate is absolutely necessary for anyone to govern. And yes democratic government means open to public inquiry and public scrutiny. No tantrums and no theatrics.
We really must abolish the Sedition Act. This has been my stand all along. Gobind Singh Deo announced its abolishment in 2018 but just for a few weeks. Then they put it back. Gobind is now back in the Cabinet. Bhai, one more try - get rid of that Sedition Act.
There is still no forward momentum in the country. A new fella has been appointed to jaga duit. Folks say he was lacklustre where he is coming from. We will know soon enough.
The ringgit has gone down two sen since the "reshuffle".
