Edaran Bhd’s wholly-owned unit Edaran IT Services Sdn Bhd has secured an information technology (IT) contract from the Finance Ministry worth RM356.56 million.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said the contract would involve the customs information system’s mainframe hardware and software rental services for the Royal Malaysian Customs Department for 48 months.
It said Edaran IT accepted the letter of award dated Dec 22, 2023, for the contract on Jan 2, 2024, with Jan 1, 2024, as the contract’s commencement date.
“Proceeds from the contract shall contribute towards the earnings of the group for the financial year ending June 30, 2024, until June 30, 2028.
“There is no significant risk in respect to this contract,” it said.
