The following are a few Hindu rituals and beliefs from the Internet.
1. "pradakshina" or circumambulation or walking around the 'temple deity' 3, 5 or 7 times in a clockwise direction.
"Pradakṣiṇā (circumambulation) of the Sanctum Sanctorum, 3, 5 or 7 times, to get the blessings of the Lord. Hindus go around clockwise, starting at the left side of the sanctum and complete on the right side and come to the front of the Lord."
2. Flying horse or winged horse
Above : Lord Indra riding the winged-horse Ucchaihshrava (also below)
3. Wearing unstitched white cloth (for men) during worship at the temple
It is a rule that while worshiping deities Brahmins should not wear sewed or stitched clothes at all. It should be Dhoti, Chadar, Shawl and Kaupin.
