AYATOLLAHS CHICKEN OUT OF ATTACKING ISRAEL

 1. Another Hamas hostage rescued

Yesterday another hostage abducted by Hamas was rescued in Rafah in southern Gaza. The hostage had been held captive for about 320 days. The hostage is an Israeli Arab Muslim by the name of Farhan al-Qadi, 52 years old. The man in the hospital bed in the picture here.

2. Hezbollah zeroes in on "chicken targets".

Over last Saturday/Sunday (25 Aug, 24) there was a serious exchange of fire between the Hezbollah and the Israelis.  The Israelis had got wind of an imminent and major Hezbollah rocket attack. The Israelis immediately launched 100 fighter jets in one of the largest air strikes ever into Hezbollah territory in southern Lebanon. The pre-emptive strike took out 40 rocket launching sites with multiple rocket launch tubes.

The Hezbollah did manage to shoot over 300 rockets and drones into Israel. The missiles caused some damage and injury but no deaths. One Hezbollah rocket did hit a chicken farm where some chickens and a number of eggs were destroyed.

The Hezbollah did make a statement over their rocket hitting the chicken farm. However their statement quickly drew ridicule from many Arab countries.  Since the Hezbollah attack was in retaliation for the death of Hezbollah military chief Fuad Shakur, Arab media is now comparing the worth of the late military commander with a chicken.

 3. AYATOLLAH'S CHICKEN OUT OF ATTACKING ISRAEL.

In the latest development the Ayatollah's have said point blank that they will not be attacking Israel.

There is a simple reason for this. Just like Hezbollah's failed attack on Sunday (using Iran made missiles) the Ayatollah's attack in April also failed miserably where the 300+ missiles they fired did not hit any targets or cause any serious damage in Israel. Militarily it was a totally failed mission. 

Exactly similar to the Hezbollah rocket attack last Sunday (where their rockets are all supplied by Iran), the ayatollah's rockets in April were also not accurate enough plus the Israeli air defenses were too strong.  Not a single person died. A 12 year old Arab Bedouin girl was injured but she has since recovered.

Seeing that Hezbollah's Made-in-Iran missiles could only fry some chickens the ayatollah's have decided to chicken out.

The real reason is because the ayatollahs really have "no skin in the game". (If you have no skin in the game, it means you have nothing at stake and nothing to lose. Having no skin in the game means you have no personal investment or risk in some goal, project, or situation).

Iran and the Iranian people face ZERO  threats from Israel. Israel is about 1,900 km away from Iran and also FOUR countries away (beyond Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Syria). Israel is not an immediate threat to the Iranian people.

• Technologically Israel is about 100 times more powerful than Iran. 
• Israel's GDP at US$525 billion is larger than Iran's GDP at US$413 billion. 
• Israel's per capita GDP is US$52,000 which is ELEVEN TIMES more than Iran's per capita GDP of US$4.7k. 
• The ayatollahs know this. 
• So why pick a fight with a country which is not a threat to you (but has the military strength to destroy Iran?)

So the ayatollahs chickened out.
