However, the education department advises schoolchildren to wear face masks, particularly those sensitive to haze conditions.

SHAH ALAM: All schools in Selangor will operate as usual tomorrow, the state education department said today, and urged pupils to wear face masks as a precautionary measure particularly for those who are sensitive to haze conditions.
The statement came as several days of rain appeared to have cleared the skies of smoke pollution from fires in Indonesia. Air pollution figures remained at moderate levels below 100 across the country.

However, the department advised schools, parents and guardians to remain alert to developments in air quality and comply with instructions and precautionary measures issued by the authorities.
Parents or guardians who are concerned about their children’s health are allowed to keep them at home but must inform the school accordingly. - FMT
