Two traffic policemen were injured in the accident which occurred at a bend on a tarred road which was wet after the rain.

District police chief Sharudin Abdul Wahab said the patrol car swerved to the right to avoid a troop of monkeys that suddenly appeared in the middle of the road at about 4.30pm.
“The incident occurred at a bend and on a tarred road which was wet after the rain,” he said. “The vehicle skidded and overturned several times.”
In the car were lance corporal Amirul Hafiz Ahmad, 26, and corporal Khairil Azlan Abdul Latif, 44, from the traffic division who were driving from Simpang Kepah towards Kuala Berang on a routine enforcement patrol duty in the Hulu Terengganu area.
Amirul, who was driving, fractured his left arm while Khairil is said to have injured his jaw. - FMT
