Youth activists demanding electoral reforms and the immediate resignations of the Election Commission have intensified their demonstration outside Malaysia's Parliamnet House.
According to observers, police are about to fire tear gas in a bid to disperse them. A student leader Safwan Anang has been arrested and taken to the Dang Wangi police headquarters.
'Tak payahlah guna..jerebu pun dah tak tahan (It won't do any good, even the haze could not contain them," PAS leader Dzulkefly Ahmad tweeted.
