PAS is mulling to file election petitions in several seats.
Party secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan said PAS was reviewing results and election reports in seats where the results have been contested.
"We don't reject the possibility of filing election petitions against those results soon," he said in a statement today.
Takiyuddin did not specify which seats these were.
However, the party had lost several seats with a slim majority.
This includes defeats in Kota Lama (by 202 votes) in Kelantan, Taman Templer (by 467 votes) in Selangor, and Sungai Lui (by 535 votes) in Negeri Sembilan.
Meanwhile, Takiyuddin - on behalf of PAS - thanked all those who voted for Perikatan Nasional during Saturday's election.
He added that PAS will be playing the role of a constructive opposition in Penang, Selangor, and Negeri Sembilan.
PN made major gains during the six state elections, making a clean sweep in Terengganu, wiping out BN in Kedah, and winning 43 out of 45 seats in Kelantan.
It also made major inroads in Penang, Selangor and Negeri Sembilan, particularly in Malay majority seats. - Mkini
