PETALING JAYA: Another Bersatu MP has decided to back Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s government, becoming the third parliamentarian from the party to do so.
Azizi Abu Naim said he decided to back the current administration for the sake of his constituents in Gua Musang, Kelantan.
“This is to ensure that their welfare is taken care of, including better infrastructure.”
Azizi’s backing of the government comes hours after Bersatu suspended Suhaili Abdul Rahman, the Labuan MP, for six years after the latter backed Anwar’s administration on similar grounds.
