PETALING JAYA: Two men died after being thrown out of their vehicle following a crash involving three vehicles at Persiaran Sultan Ibrahim in Klang, this morning.
In a statement, the fire and rescue department said it received a distress call at 6.23am and promptly dispatched a team from the Sungai Pinang fire and rescue station to the scene.
“The two victims who were thrown out of their vehicles were confirmed dead at the scene by health ministry officials,” it said, adding that there were also five other people who sustained injuries in the crash.
“The five victims have been sent to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital for further treatment, while the bodies of the two deceased were handed over to the police for the necessary follow-up action.”
Meanwhile, according to Utusan Malaysia the injured victims comprised two men, two children and an infant.
The three vehicles were all reportedly en route to Shah Alam when the crash occurred. - FMT
