Papers of lewd video linked to former J-Kom chief submitted to AGC: Cops

Police have handed the investigation paper of the alleged sexual harassment case involving former Community Communication Department (J-Kom) director-general, Mohammad Agus Yusoff, to the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC).

According to Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department director Shuhaily Mohd Zain, the document was handed over on Dec 18 last year.

“For now, the paper is being reviewed by the AGC,” he was quoted telling Berita Harian.

On Dec 14, Agus (above) had his statement recorded regarding an alleged sexual harassment case involving him and another J-Kom staff.

The said officer, Abdul Wahab Abdul Kadir Jilani, had alleged that he was sexually harassed by Agus at a hotel in Bintulu, Sarawak, on Oct 21 last year.

Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain confirmed that the police are investigating the matter, including under Section 354 of the Penal Code for outraging modesty and Section 377D for the offence of committing an indecent act.

Agus had previously claimed that a three-minute-long video, allegedly showing him engaging in a lewd conversation with Wahab, was doctored, and fingered one “Mr H” as the purported mastermind. - Mkini
