The PAS president's aide says the statement was given a few days ago in Kuala Lumpur.

Hadi’s aide, Bachok MP Syahir Sulaiman, said the statement was taken a few days ago in Kuala Lumpur, Berita Harian reported.
“I was made to understand that the investigation is ongoing, with several witnesses also called to give their statements.
“Hadi has left it to the police to investigate and does not want to comment on the matter out of respect for the probe,” he said.
At PAS’s 72nd annual muktamar, Hadi claimed the party was offered assistance by the US to topple the government in 2014, during then-US president Barack Obama’s visit to Malaysia in 2014.
He said then-PAS assistant secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan and Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, who was Hadi’s political secretary at the time, went to the US embassy for the meeting.
However, Takiyuddin and Samsuri were not swayed by the offer and remained firm in rejecting it, he said.
The US embassy in Kuala Lumpur has denied Hadi’s claim, saying Washington has never sought to determine who leads Malaysia. - FMT
