Selangor PAS deputy commissioner Khalid Abdul Samad today denied that he had blamed the Selangor palace for causing the delay in the announcement of the state executive council (exco) list.
"I've been advised, by the palace, that I had blamed the palace for the delay (of the exco list).

"However, the statement made by the sultan's private secretary Mohamad Munir Bani is in fact incorrect," Khalid (left) said.
He said his blog posting, dated May 20, only explained the process concenring the list, but there was no mention of the wordkelewatan (delay).

So, he added, he did not lay blame on any party.
Pakatan Rakyat, Khalid said, had all the time to decide on its exco list as the state constitution does not state any time frame for this. Therefore, the issue of delay does not arise.
"Pakatan does not see this as a delay," he said during a press conference today.
The Shah Alam MP blamed Malaysiakini's Bahasa Malaysia edition for sensationalising the issue, saying the headline used led to the “incorrect” statement being made by the sultan secretary.
"I blame Malaysiakini for the incorrect statement (made by Munir), as Malaysiakini sensationalised the news," Khalid said, urging Munir to read his original blog posting instead.
Khalid, however, noted that Malaysiakini has nontheless correctly reported on his article.
