Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak should declare all his assets as the rakyat are fed up of corruption, cronyism and nepotism, said Umno veteran Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah.
He said Najib should lead the way for all politicians, both past and present, to declare their assets, including those of trustees and nominees.
"Let's be honest; the pilfering and wastage of natural resources is intolerable. It is time to face reality, the rakyat are fed up of corruption, cronyism and nepotism.
"All ministers, including past prime ministers, must make a declaration of their assets along with those who have been named as trustees and nominees," said Tengku Razaleigh, or Ku Li, at an economic roundtable discussion held at the Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) in Kuala Lumpur today.
Later, when asked whether it was possible that there could be a change of government by 2018 based on the results of the 13th general election, he said: "There is nothing to prevent a change of government; there is massive unemployment involving fresh graduates and also high cost of living in the urban areas."
