Abusive words scribbled on walls of school in Sitiawan

The walls of a secondary school building in Sitiawan were scribbled with abusive words using spray paint on Saturday, police said.
Manjung Police chief ACP Tengku Mohd Zailan Tengku Ahmad Shah said the incident was believed to have been carried out by unscrupulous individuals early Saturday morning, and the school security guard noticed it at about 3am on the same day.
“The security guard on patrol was surprised to see the abusive words, mostly in Chinese, scribbled on the walls.
“The security guard did not see anyone entering the school. Other areas like toilets, canteen tables and the school floor have also been scribbled with such words,” Tengku Mohd Zailan said when contacted today, adding no school property was reported stolen.
He said several suspects had so far been arrested.
Meanwhile, Perak Education, Science, Environment and Green Technology Committee chairperson Mohd Amin Zakaria said he had not received any complaint regarding the incident, but expressed disappointment if it had really happened.
However, Mohd Amin said, he would instruct an investigation into the matter.
