Many Malaysians are finding it difficult to feel at ease in their own homeland, if a new report released by the United Nations is anything to go by.
The cites' Gallup poll data showing only 48% of respondents from Malaysia answering 'yes' to the question: “Do you feel safe walking alone at night in the city or area where you live?”
On average, however, more Malaysians tend to appreciate living here than not, with Malaysia receiving a 6 out of 10 for overall life satisfaction. gw
In 2014, 63% of Malaysians regarded the Federal Government as being trustworthy. 57% of Malaysian respondents that year also trusted the country's judicial system.
