VIRAL CLIP: 'DON'T MESS WITH ME, MY BLADE BIGGER THAN YOURS' - WOMAN CASHIER BEATS OFF ARMED ROBBER

A closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera footage of a robbery attempt is currently making rounds on social media.

Posted by Sukan Star TV Facebook page, the video apparently shows that whoever has the bigger knife, wins the fight.

In the video, what looked like an attempted robbery at a convenience store was foiled when the would-be robber wielding a chopper met his match as the storekeeper fought back with her very own machete.

In the one-minute clip, the robber who was wearing a motorcycle helmet was shown entering a convenience store, posing as a shopper. He then brandished a large chopper in what could have been an attempt to rob the store.

This was when the store’s cashier, a woman, drew out an even larger machete from behind the counter to defend herself.

The two were caught in a brief light saber like duel, clashing their blades together, before the man eventually fled the scene.

According to the posting, the incident supposedly occurred in Kuala Terengganu yesterday.

The video, posted earlier today, has received more than a million views, 21,199 likes and 18,540 shares, along with countless comments from netizens who were amazed by the woman’s bravery in defending herself and the store.

Facebook user, Wandy Yell Low commented saying: “Respect lah dgn cashier ni.. Beranii kott.. Gila ko ssh nak jumpa brani lawan mcm ni.. Semoga Allah melindungi yg benar. (Respect to the cashier, she was brave, hard to find someone who is brave enough to fight back. May Allah protect those who are just).”

“Awesome! The robber almost lost his head in the fight. Haha,” said Shaina Ramkal.

Ad Fly, meanwhile, implored all storekeepers and owners to equip their shops with weapons to defend themselves in such situations.
