WHY ALI TINJU IS SO IMPORTANT TO NAJIB: RACIAL SPATS, EMERGENCY RULE & STAYING IN POWER

The NSC Bill is writing on the wall that gives a strong perception of a strategy to remain in power if the votes do not add up.

The world has to be shown that democracy is strongly established in Malaysia and that elections determine the leaders of the country.

A previous Chairman of the Election Commission told us not so long ago that the Commission had always done its job to ensure the continued rule of the BN. So much for fair elections and a show of democracy to the world. In other words, what that previous Chairman of the EC had inadvertently said was that our elections are merely a “sandiwara”.

Our current PM himself had not very long ago proclaimed that Putrajaya would be defended (from the opposition) even with broken bones and crushed bodies.

Very recently a lady minister said she is prepared for blood to flow rather than see an opposition party gain power.

And not forgetting a retired judge who warned of the “dendam kesumat” that has no bounds if the “sensitivities” of certain people are hurt.

Now we see Ali Tinju going around creating “hot spots”. Is he carrying out rehearsals for more “hot spots” as the next election gets nearer? Why is he so bold and free to do what some others will not be so free to do?

If the NSC Bill becomes law, Ali Tinju’s hot spots that happen close to election time would be reason enough to declare emergency and suspend elections in the “hot spot” areas or constituencies.

Elections will not be suspended as the world needs to be shown that democracy is not suspended, only that some pockets of hot-spots need to be cooled down. Unfortunately, there will be no votes from these “hot-spots” under cooling down orders under the NSC Act. Without “hot” votes, it would be a cool victory.

I pray that all this is just a figment of my imagination, a flight of fantasy, and not a prediction of sorts. I am no clairvoyant and don’t claim to have any powers to foresee the future.
