The Perak Football Association (Pafa) will call for a special meeting on the sale of tickets for the 2019 FA Cup Final.
Its president, Ahmad Faizal Azumu said the meeting is aimed at discussing the distribution of ticket sales in all districts in the state.
“We cannot deny the rights or capabilities of the affiliated associations throughout the state and district level, but the distribution of tickets at the district level will be handled by Pafa itself.
"In order to avoid issues such as leakages from cropping up, Pafa will manage it in a professional manner and we will discuss this matter in greater detail,” he told reporters after officiating the state-level National Youth Day in Ipoh today.
Commenting further, Faizal said it was possible that Pafa might use the same system as the ticket sale for the second leg of the FA Cup semifinal – online sales and at the Perak Stadium.
Meanwhile, when asked on the RM150,000 bonus announced by the state government for the Perak football team, Faizal said it would be given as soon as possible.
“We will give immediately, if possible before the final (match) and I leave it to the management of the team for the distribution of the bonus,” he said.
Perak confirmed its berth to the 2019 FA Cup Final with a 4-3 aggregate win over Pahang last night.
Meanwhile, more than 10,000 people attended the state-level celebration of the National Youth Day held for three days beginning last Friday.
Various activities were held throughout the celebration, including the Youth Entrepreneur Carnival, a seminar on the preparation of halal certificates, a sports carnival for people with special abilities, youth premier awards, a battle of the band and a drum festival.
