Ketuanan Melayu or Malay supremacy unwritten policy last 50 years 
Many hoped Ketuanan Melayu would be pronounced 'dead’ under madani
However Malaysia Madani indicated otherwise
Madani continues Ketuanan Melayu, hidden behind Madani brand
discussion about Ketuanan Melayu suppressed
Mainstream reluctant to carry OpEds on the subject
any blogger who does could be blocked 

• 12 months later non-Malay disenfranchisement worse  
• symbolised by answer to Indian student who asked about quota system 
• made her feel she had encroached upon taboo
• citing (non existent) ‘social contract’, a term from (after May 13 1969)
• Enhancing Malay-centric government
• madani says 1.7 million civil service doesn’t need reform
• RM 1.9m allocated to JAKIM 
• ensured ‘Malay-centric’ mindset further embedded in civil service

• Apathy towards non-Malays
• past 12 months apathy towards non-Malays clearly visible 
• low representation of Indian community in Cabinet
• DAP under-represented according to party’s numbers in parliament
• Anthony Loke’s caution over Palestine Solidarity Week 
• Sarawak won’t be participating
• major members of coalition not being consulted

• non-Malays thrown to the sidelines
• Malays themselves abused 
• Kampong Sungei Baru and Kanthan farmer evictions enrich cronies 
• rights of voiceless Malays give way to corporations 
• fairness and justice thrown to the wind

• The optics are not good
• objective to transfer as much state land as possible to crony corporations  
• critics, whistle-blowers pursued through civil law codes to silence them
• directive not to entertain non-Malay correspondence even more Malay-centric 
• DNAA of curruption charges, prosecution of Muhyiddin 
• protects those in power, persecute political opposition

• 40 Hadiths in school curriculum is continuing Islamization by govt 
• cutting into government unity
• Sarawak not adopting some of these directives

• after almost a year continuing Ketuanan Melayu  
• beneficiaries are elite class within the Malay polity 
• any criticisms of this policy silenced in one way or another
