ORANG MELAYU BERTAMBAH FED UP DENGAN DR MAHATHIR

 

 

My Comments :

I knew Dr Mahathir for about 18 years (from 2000 until 2018). And in all those years I have heard him repeat numerous times - often hearing from him directly - that in the famous 1969 General Elections he lost in the Alor Setar Parliamentary seat because the "Chinese did not support me". 

He blamed the Chinese for not voting for him in 1969. 

But in November 2022 Dr Mahathir not only lost his parliamentary seat in his pet constituency of Langkawi but he also lost his deposit.  Of Langkawi's 68,000 voters more than 90% are Malays. Chinese make up only about 6.8% of Langkawi's voters. Yet Dr Mahathir lost his deposit in Langkawi. 

That was a seppuku moment for Dr Mahathir.

 

What a disastrous and embarrassing end to his political career.  Your own people the Malays, on an island which Dr Mahathir personally created by pumping millions and billions of taxpayers money, basically showed you the middle finger. 

And then Dr Mahathir got kicked out again. Dr Mahathir's new party lost ALL their deposits in the state elections across SIX States. That was another seppuku moment.

And like many of Dr Mahathir's other projects Langkawi is now failing. 

Dr Mahathir's car factory was sold at scrap metal prices (harga besi buruk) to the Chinese (from China).   The steel mill that he built is now abandoned. Some Banglas are running recycling businesses from the abandoned steel mill. 

Dr Mahathir was prime minister for almost 24 years (Dr M 1.0 and 2.0). That man in the video seems to be really angry and upset. Obviously he has not benefited much from Dr Mahathir's long years in the PM's office. 

I agree that other people have benefited tremendously during Dr Mahathir's tenure in office. But not that ordinary looking fellow in the video.
