KUALA LUMPUR: Highway concessionaire Prolintas bagged three distinguished accolades at the Forward Faster Sustainability Awards 2023, convened by the UN Global Compact Network Malaysia and Brunei, held at Parkroyal Collection Kuala Lumpur.
Prolintas group CEO Azlan Abdullah picked up the Forward Faster CEO award.
The company also took home the living wage award and the partnership for the goals recognition award.
Azlan said these achievements are a testament to Prolintas’ steadfast resolve in championing progressive infrastructure development.
“We are deeply committed to growing our enterprise, and doing so in a way that nurtures and protects the people and environment around us,” he said.
In a statement, Prolintas said the Forward Faster CEO award celebrated Azlan’s strategic approach to business, with robust governance, environmental concern and social responsibility.
Meanwhile, the living wage award highlighted the company’s principled stance on equitable remuneration, ensuring every employee receives a just and liveable wage.

Prolintas’ strategic alliance with the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC) led to the partnership for the goals recognition award.
This accolade acknowledges the joint endeavour to meticulously evaluate the greenhouse gas footprint of business and highway operations, laying the groundwork for a net-zero carbon ambition by 2050. - FMT
