TAK TAHU NIAGA KE? WHY SELL A HIGHLY PROFITABLE COMPANY? CARILAH FOREIGN INVESTORS WHO CAN COMPETE, WHO CAN BRING VALUE ADDED, HI TECHNOLOGY, WHO CAN BRING NEW MONEY, CAN CREATE NEW EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES. WHY BRING IN MORE RENT SEEKERS? WE HAVE ENOUGH RENT SEEKERS ALREADY.

 "But dont come to Malaysia to become another set of lazy rent seekers"

Here is some not shocking news (because it is a monopoly) :

 

"..net profit for the first quarter ended March 31, 2024 (1Q 2024), increased to RM189.99 million from RM58.19 million in the same period last year, a rise of 226 per cent."

OSTB : This is quite an insane performance. Their profit jumped by 226% for the first THREE MONTHS alone. It jumped from RM58 million in Q1 last year to RM190 million in Q1 this year!! 

So WHY THE HELL DOES THE GOMEN WANT TO SELL SUCH A HIGHLY PROFITABLE COMPANY TO THE AMERICANS AND THE PAK ARAB?

TAK TAHU NIAGA KAH BRADER? Usually in business when your company is super profitable and making money you DO NOT SELL THE COMPANY.  WHY SELL SUCH A HIGHLY PROFITABLE COMPANY? 

APA JENIS UDANG YANG ADA DI SEBALIK BATU ?

And why sell the shares to the Pak Arab? Here is some general advice. The Pak Arab do not have two things : 1. they do not have technology and 2. they dont have money either.

Remember during Dr Mahathir's time they brought in that Pak Arab super genius inventor or something. Last sekali Dr Mahathir kena tipu. Satu habuk invention pun tak jadi but the fellow sapu over RM700 million from Dr M. Our money.

In the early 2000s they gave a banking license to a Pak Arab bank which the Americans labelled as being involved as a "terrorist financier" for the Al Qaeda fellows.

Do you remember Bossku and those Pak Arab IPIC from Abu Dhabi? They sapu bersih our 1MDB money. 

Do you remember  "Prince Majid al Faisal al Tolol al Saud al Abdool al Faisal al Saud" (or some name like that) in that 1MDB case as well? Also sapu duit 1MDB.

Kenapalah kau orang ini gila sangat kepada Pak Arab?

Now some other Pak Arab are being offered a stake in some of our prime assets, highly profitable monopolies, oligopolies including gomen owned companies.

The airport business is a monopoly.
The petrol station business is an oligopoly. 

Why sell stakes in these monopoly and oligopoly businesses to foreigners? Why not sell these stakes to Malaysians? I will explain why here.

We want FDIs and foreign investors because they can bring:

1. their own money, they bring their own capital which we do not have
2. they bring in new technology which we do not have
3. they can create value or increase the value added in our economy
4. they bring in new business acumen which we do not have
5. they can create new jobs and new employment opportunities 

6. they bring in more competition, they are competitive

7. they bring new markets for Malaysian products `

So why the hell do you need to sell off our highly profitable monopolies and oligopoly businesses to the Pak Arab? And the Americans?

What new technology do they need to run monopolies and oligopolies?
What value added do they need to run monopolies and oligopolies?
What new business acumen do they need to run monopolies and oligopolies? 

How many new jobs do they create to run monopolies and oligopolies?

What is the new competition  they need to run monopolies and oligopolies?

What new markets do they create to run monopolies and oligopolies?

For those of you who are really stupid, jenis DNA terencat who cannot understand what I am saying let me give you an example.

There is that multi-billion Ringgit rice monopoly in the country. The boss is a billionaire. Imagine telling that rice billionaire fellow 'Brader can you sell 25% of your rice monopoly to some Pak Arab from Oobadoo?' 

What do you think will be his reply? He will say exactly what I said:

Kau ni bodoh tak tahu niaga kah?   
Why should I sell my highly profitable rice monopoly to anyone? 
It is so profitable, it makes so much money. 
Why would I want to sell such a highly profitable business to anyone?' 

This is what he will say.

If the Americans and the Pak Arab bring in 

• huge amounts of their own money
• they bring value added, high technology
• they can create thousands of new high paying jobs 

then that will benefit the economy.

But dont come to Malaysia to become another set of lazy rent seekers.

By the way where is that Tesla factory or assembly plant? A shiny showroom in Cyberjaya does not create thousands of jobs. Or bring in billions of Ringgit in FDI. 

A showroom is just a show room. Serupa juga kedai kasut Bata.  

Let me explain why we should not sell our highly profitable prime monopolies and oligopolies to the Americans and the Pak Arab. Because they will take the profits OUT OF THE COUNTRY. Then the Ringgit will fall even more. Ringgit akan jatuh lagi.

These are not export industries like Intel or Fuji or Siemens who manufacture value added products in Malaysia and export them overseas to bring in foreign exchange earnings.

Petrol stations and airports are NOT export industries. They cater to the domestic market which means their business is in Ringgit. They make their profits in Ringgit and hence the Pak Arab and the Americans will take out the profits in Ringgit. It will add to the outflow of the Ringgit.

If you sell these Ringgit-based businesses to Malaysian businesses then the Ringgit profits will NOT FLOW OUT OF THE COUNTRY. The Malaysian businessmen will keep the Ringgit profits inside the country. They will put the Ringgits in the Malaysian banks, invest in Malaysian assets, start new businesses in Malaysia etc. They will buy their bungalows, condominiums, build new buildings etc all in Malaysia. There will be re-investment in the Malaysian economy.

Let me ask again :   APA JENIS UDANG YANG ADA DI SEBALIK BATU ?
