A fine of RM2,000 each was meted out today to three teenagers for committing mischief in a surau at Seremban last Ausgust.
The young boys, aged between 16 to 17, pleaded guilty to chucking empty beer bottles into the compound of Taman Pulai Indah’s surau.
Two of the three were let-off with a RM3,000 bond for their role in splashing red paint on the said building. The other was released on a good behaviour bond for his part in the crude act.
They will have to in addition report-in at the welfare department monthly for two years.
They were charge under Section 427 and 34 of the Penal Code. - Malaysian Insider
