A former Royal Malaysian Air Force personnel, who allegedly headed a triad, was shot dead yesterday in what police believe was a ‘turf war’ in Ipoh yesterday.
According to The Star, S Jambu Keshan, 39, head of Batu Gajah's Geng 36, was shot dead by a masked assailant in Taman Rishah at 7.15am.
"We also believe the shooting is related to a turf war between the victim's gang, Geng 04 and Geng 08," Perak CID chief Mohd Dzuraidi Ibrahim, adding that it could be related to drugs.

Berita Harian also reported that the war also involved Geng 36.
