Negri state secretariat building burgled
Three offices located at the state secretariat building Wisma Negeri in Seremban, including one belonging to Negri Sembilan executive council (exco) member Shamsulkahar Mohd Deli, were burgled yesterday morning.
The other offices burgled were the Land and Minerals Department (PTG) and the Welfare Department, Berita Harian reported.
No documents were found to be missing and the suspect, who was caught on CCTV during the 2am incident, is believed to have only walked away with RM100 belonging to PTG staff.
The lone suspect wore gloves and had smashed a glass wall to enter the offices.
Shamsulkahar, who is also BN's Serting assemblyperson, reportedly found out about the burglary at 7.15am, said no documents or valuable items were stolen from his office.
DAP's Kulai MP Teo Nie Ching lost RM400 and a computer when her office was burgled last year, while the same happened to her colleague, Seputeh MP Teresa Kok in 2008.
The homes of several high profile individuals, including MPs from Negri Sembilan, Rembau MP Khairy Jamaluddin and Jempol's Isa Samad, were broken into this year.
