BN chairman and Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak attended Parliament sittings for a total of only 26 days since taking office in April 2009, a DAP MP revealed today.
Demanding that the PM make his presence more felt in the Lower House, Bakri MP Er Teck Hwa said Najib's attendance only amounted to 7 percent out of the total 358 days that Parliament has sat since 2009.
Er (right) had proposed an adjournment speech on the PM's poor attendance but this rejected by Parliament Secretary Roosme Hamzah who said the matter was not "related to government administration".
