PAS has lost one of its Selangor executive council seats in new Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali's administration when only three names were announced today.
The PAS executive councillors are Iskandar Samad, Dr Ahmad Yunus and Mohd Zaidy Abdul Talib, the Templer Park state assemblyman who is a new face in the state administration.
Both Iskandar and Dr Ahmad Yunus served in Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim's government.
The two PAS executive councillors dropped are Sallehen Mukhyi and Dr Halimah Ali.
The cut from four to three excos is contrary to earlier reports. Yesterday, Azmin said the composition of the exco line-up would be the same (PAS 4, PKR 3 and DAP 3) but later said it had yet to be finalised.
The PKR and DAP assemblymen are Elizabeth Wong, Dr Daroyah Alwi, Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, Amirudin Shari, Datuk Teng Chang Khim, Ean Yong Hian Wah and V. Ganabatirau.
It is status quo for the DAP, as its three excos under the previous administration are retained.
Two of the four excos in PKR are new - Seri Setia assemblyman Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad and Batu Caves representative Amirudin Shari.
Nik Nazmi, who is also Deputy Speaker of the legislative assembly, will have to quit that position and the legislators will have to elect a new deputy speaker when the house convenes.
