Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said that major infrastructures such as the North South Highway and the Kuala Lumpur International Airport should be "blown up" if anyone wants to destroy his legacy.
There have been claims that the mainstream media had begun attacking carmaker Proton, which was Dr Mahathir's brainchild, in an attempt to destroy his legacy.
But Dr Mahathir shrugged off such efforts today.
"Not only that, blow up KLIA and KLCC (Petronas Twin Towers) too," he added.
"All these (projects) are not good," he said sarcastically.
Dr Mahathir invited criticism from some Umno leaders over his incessant complaints about Najib and calls for his resignation.
Some have said that the retired statesman's attacks on Najib were weakening Umno and stirring disconnect.
