ALL EYES ON 'QUIET ZETI' AFTER APANDI ASSAULT: WAS BANK NEGARA LAX, INCOMPETENT & FOOLISH OVER 1MDB?
Some of you caught on fast.
Yes my previous post was to "kipas" Bank Negara and give them a bola tanggung (float ball) for them to smash down.
Today is a public holiday. Maybe tomorrow Bank Negara will reply the AG fellow. The guy is such a pedestrian, occupying such a high position.
Sebenarnya Bugis tu bukan bodoh macam pintu. Smart fellows like Jho Low to sapu the money. The "ketuanan Melayu" dunggus for the 'kabberup'.
Here are some comments from the previous post which I think are worth reading carefully :

TUAN SYED, BANK NEGARA did not work like as what AG THINKS or you yourself thinks.
BANKING AND FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS ACT AND EXCHANGE CONTROL ACT are ACTS for banks and financial institutions to abide by and to follow.
Any contraventions of the Acts will be dealt with by BANK NEGARA. All transactions between banks and banks, banks and clients were carried out between themselves, and Bank Negara did not get themselves involved.
Banks and Financial Institutions sometimes purposely wanted to contravene the acts hoping that they wont be discovered.
Thats why BANK NEGARA have a special DEPARTMENT ie Bank Examination Dept to go and check and do forensic audit of commercial banks.
Sometimes BANK NEGARA did not know anything happening in the banks and financial institutions until somebody wrote a flying letter or a whistle blower informed BANK NEGARA.
In case of transactions between 1MDB and Commercial banks, BANK NEGARA only discovered later when all dealings had been transacted already.
Bank NEGARA DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO HELP RUN AND MONITOR THE FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS.

My comments : Thank you and syabas. Yes. Bank Negara is the Regulator and Monitor. Each bank is responsible to conduct its own checks to make sure the transaction is genuine. It is NOT the duty of Bank Negara to appoint its officers to stand guard at every bank branch and scrutinise every banking transaction.
Here is a second comment

Nope, not cold feet.
Simply misinformation by 1MDB.
There is no secret now that the 1.83 billion relates to the Petrosaudi deal.
The trail of that scam is too well-known to be repeated here.
And there is nothing in the ECA that says it applies only to the initial forms filled in.
Subsequent information can invalidate that. And BNM has had the 100% full facts only since July 2015.
Those facts show that 1MDB's false info:
a) The joint venture will have combined equity funds of US$2.5 billion to be used for investment in various sectors;
b) The US$2.5 billion of funds will be deposited with BSI while waiting for the prospective investments to be identified; and
c) The funds will be transferred in tranches to ensure an orderly foreign exchange market
were all faked.
Based on publicly available information today, 1MDB clearly misled BNM in its application to transfer the US$1 billion in funds overseas.
The joint venture never raised US$2.5 billion in funds as Petrosaudi did not inject any cash into the joint venture for its 60 percent stake.
Instead, Petrosaudi injected assets allegedly worth more than US$1.5 billion, which was subsequently proven to be fraudulent or non-existent.
Secondly, the US$1 billion invested by 1MDB was never deposited with BSI at all. Which is why the MAS reported it to BNM.
This is not a case of collusion between BNM and 1MDB; BNM's mistake was in thinking it was impossible for an MOF-owned entity to be lying through its teeth.
The documents, that are becoming undeniable even by Arul Kanda, are showing more and more clearly that the deception was known at the very top.
But BNM has only had firm evidence of it this year.
Apandi's logic is haywire. If I give false info on a bank application form - you think I am immune if I say: "bank officer tu tak mintak bukti pun?"
That's what the essence of his argument boils down to.

My comments : Thank you Sir / Madam. Yup that is what 'pandi's logic seems to be. Here is comment no. 3:

The Thingy has published BNM's letter dated 29 Sep 2009 to 1MDB detailing the conditions for 1MDB to remit USD1 billion - https://medium.com/@sarawakreport/arul-spins-a-changing-story-as-we-publish-more-documents-he-can-t-deny-b7594ff52f4f
Can't wait for the Thingy to publish the documents for the 6 Sep 2010 and 20 May 2011 remittances!
