MPs OPENLY FOR SALE? If one million each for 222 MPs, only RM0.22 billion what...
Roger 5201: Even if all 222 MPs are given a million each like the Johore Bahru MP Shahrir Samad, it only adds up to RM0.22 billion, which is far short of the RM2.6 billion of political deposited into his account. What happened to the rest of the (RM2.38b) money and who benefited if "he and his family" did not benefit from it?
Mikey: Good question asked on what happen to the rest of the RM 2.38b? Most Malaysians including the Makcik and Pakcik can/will tell you it's not in your pocket or mine, but in a certain offshore a/c far away.
Candidates are allowed to incur expenses of up to RM200,000 for parliamentary seats and RM100,000 for state assembly seats only. If we take 222 x 200,000 = 44.4 millions. The RM 800,000 are for buying their loyalty. I am sure MCA/Gerakan/MIC head will get 1 million but the rest may get less than 500k for their support.
To cut it short, what MCA received are just crumbs compare to what the other ministers are receiving because Najib will say you (MCA) do not deserve even crumbs if you take the % of Chinese voted for MCA. That is why most Chinese call MCA running dog (chow kow). Can't wait for GE14. Cheers.

Billyes: If someone received a huge amount of money and it is acceptable to say that it is a donation and don't have to disclose who the donor is, then there can never be any corruption or money laundering case...isn't it? Malaysia Boleh!
Lee Chee Wat: All the Umno/BN candidates in GE13 did receive funds. Some might not have used all and had probably pocketed some. Sure, Shahrir Samad had pocketed a handsome sum and likewise there were also others in the same boat. That is why many Umno/BN people are keen to become candidates – they can get rich. Rakyat di tepikan lah!
Mikey: When Johore Bahru MP Shahrir Samad acknowledged that he was given RM1 million, that is personal ‘donation’ from PM. He can still claim whatever expenses incurred in GE13. The expenses may exceed RM200,000 but cannot report because it has exceeded the permitted RM200k election expenses for a parliamentary seat. It is an open secret all BN parliamentarians and state assemblymen received ‘donations’ from PM. The only question is how much?
