Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak or one of his ministers from the Prime Minister's Department will explain the controversial RM2.6 billion “donation” that went into his personal bank accounts next month, Datuk Seri Azalina Othman said, according to Malaysiakini.
“Whether the prime minister will answer or anyone in the Prime Minister's Department, it is still the prerogative of the premier,” she reportedly said, adding that the rules did not specify that the answer must be given on the day the parliamentary question is asked.
"If the prime minister answers today, there will be continuous questions. Don't you think it is fairer to accumulate all the questions on the last day?" she said, according to the report in the news portal.
