Art marvels at the cluelessness surrounding 3 jumbo jets

Lawyer says MAHB's apparent ignorance of who the aircraft belonged to, is reflective of the "state of our nation" as well.

PETALING JAYA: The embarrassing situation Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) found itself in when they ran newspaper advertisements seeking the owner of three aircraft parked at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, has resulted in many critics laughing at their ineptness and accusing them of sleeping on the job.
One rather well-known public figure, lawyer and social activist Art Harun, could not resist the temptation to express his sentiments on the issue and commented on Facebook: “This just about encapsulates the state of our nation. It is freaking clueless.”
Stumped at how a company could actually lose track of who had parked three of their aircraft at their premises, he wrote: “We are not talking about a bicycle or some old Proton Sagas found in the basement of Suria KLCC.
“We are talking about not one, but THREE JUMBO JETS parked at KLIA for a good TWELVE MONTHS and we don’t blardy have a clue as to who the owners are.”
On December 11, the media reported that Swift Air Cargo were the rightful owners of the aircraft and had in fact been in constant communication with MAHB regarding their three planes.
The CEO, Captain Blue Peterson said: “MAHB for some unfathomable reason, refuses to acknowledge Swift as the owners of the aircraft, even though we have all of the supporting documents, including the Bill of Sale for the three aircraft.”
Commenting on the fiasco, Art recommended a fitting punishment when he said: “The whole management of the entity responsible for this should be blind folded and cuffed, dragged to the basement, tied up and made to listen to Donald Trump’s Presidential nomination speeches 24/7 till Christmas.
“Next year, that is.”
