The defence minister and Sembrong lawmaker stops to help an accident victim.
PETALING JAYA: Defence Minister Hishammuddin Hussein showed what it meant to serve the people when he got out of his car to help an accident victim in Sembrong, Johor.
The Star reported that Hishammuddin went to the aid of a motorcyclist who was writhing in pain on the road after a collision with a cyclist at a roundabout.
“Suddenly, we saw Datuk Seri get out of his vehicle and make his way to the motorcyclist,” an onlooker told The Star.
The Star report also carried a picture of Hishammuddin comforting the motorcyclist who was lying on the ground.
Hishammuddin, who is also the Sembrong MP, was on his way back to Kluang after a working visit to his constituency when the accident happened.
“Datuk Seri only left the scene after the motorcyclist said he was alright and could manage by himself,” the onlooker said. -FMT
