Bahasa Cina Di Semua Peringkat Di Sekolah Arab Saudi

This news came out earlier. I though it was fake news. But it is true and has been reported in a number of Middle Eastern media.

JEDDAH: Saudi and China Friday agreed to include Chinese as curriculum at all stages of education in schools and universities across the Kingdom.

My comments :  Maybe the Saudis are developing some common sense. If they really carry this through it will be a great boon for Saudi Arabia. They will become the first Arab country which teaches Mandarin to its students at 'all levels' of the education system from primary school to university.

Not only will it multiply the business and economic ties between Saudi Arabia and China but it also opens up tertiary level education in China for the Saudis. This is a very bold and farsighted move by the Saudis.
