IGP HAS GIVEN MAHATHIR’S ‘NO FURTHER ACTION’ GAME AWAY: AZMIN, GUILTY OR NOT OF GAY SEX WITH HAZIQ, WILL BE ‘CLEARED’ ONE WAY OR ANOTHER BY COPS & MACC – WITH ‘GODFATHER’ DR M HAMMERING DOWN HIS OWN ‘LAW’

The sex cum corruption scandal that has rocked the Harapan government seems to have come to a dramatic turn, when the IGP made a statement related to it yesterday (June 15).
Speaking to reporters, he stated that the authentication of the video clips “will take time”.  As for the investigation of this scandal, he said: “investigation paper will only be opened if we are confident that there were criminal elements”.
Observers of Malaysian politics over the decades should have no difficulty to interpret this to mean that this would be another NFA (no further action).  This is in line with what has always happened in the past under Umno rule when the ruling elite is entangled in scandals.
This IGP statement stood in contrast with the tense atmosphere prevailing in the previous evening (June 14) when Haziq Aziz, who confessed he was one of the two men in the homosexual romp in the video clips, was arrested at the departure hall of KL International Airport for probe on four criminal offences. Haziq was released on police bail after a day-long examination at Hospital KL in late afternoon yesterday, with no travel restriction imposed on him.
Surely, Haziq must have thrown sufficient light on the police during his overnight custody to cause the transformation of its attitude over the case?
And interestingly, one also cannot help but recall Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad’s emphatic verdict that the video clips were fake, only hours after the breaking of such news. Perhaps our police can learn a thing or two from our learned PM on his secret formula to decipher a fake video instantly?
As for the public who have been eagerly waiting to see how our new law-enforcers under the new government would conduct themselves over scandals involving the ruling elite – business as usual as in the Umno era, or no-nonsense uphold of rule of law, which has been frequently hanging on the lips of our PM with pride? I guess they have found the answer.
As for the curious, who are dying to know whether these video clips are showing the real stuff, I think they have also found the answer.
By the way, what about the alleged corruption with documentary evidence projected in the video clips? It seems to have been understandably forgotten, considering the sodomy part capturing all our undivided attention.
But, considering the fact that our MACC is also under the same political control, do we really expect MACC will conduct itself any differently?
