PKR vice-president Zuraida Kamaruddin has been advised to toe the line with regard to the party's action against Haziq Abdullah Abdul Haziz.
"We have made a collective decision and it is better (we) respect it," PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution told reporters in Putrajaya this afternoon.
He was asked to comment on Zuraida stating she would have expelled Haziq, who is the Santubong PKR Youth chief, if she was the PKR president.
Last week, the PKR political bureau slapped Haziq, who had claimed to have indulged in sexual acts with the party's deputy president Azmin Ali, with a show-cause letter.
Haziq's “confession” came in the wake of videos of the alleged incident being leaked. Azmin has described this as a nefarious plot to ruin his political career.
Quizzed on the call for disciplinary action to be taken against Zuraida, the secretary-general said the matter would be discussed if it is raised during the political bureau meeting.
"We will have a weekly political bureau as usual. If the matter will be discussed if it is raised,” he added.
