Economic Affairs Minister Azmin Ali said it is unfair for any quarter to comment on the sex videos as the matter is still under police investigation.
The PKR deputy president also reiterated that the videos, which depicted a person resembling him engaged in sexual acts with another man, are part of a campaign to ruin his political career.
“I have taken several actions to cleanse my name apart from filing 'qazaf' (false accusations related to sexual matters) and police reports..
“So I consider it unfair for individuals or other parties to make statements at this juncture because an investigation is ongoing.
“Such statements can be seen as interfering with the investigation process,” he told reporters in Shah Alam this morning.
The minister was responding to Australian media organisation SBS News, which quoted experts as stating that the videos, which implicated Azmin, do not appear to be doctored.
However, the experts could not determine if the person in the clips was indeed Azmin.
