Police have not set a deadline for their investigation into the sex videos implicating Economic Affairs Minister Azmin Ali.
Urging the public to be patient, Deputy Inspector-General of Police Mazlan Mansor, however, promised a thorough probe.
“I cannot give you any deadline [...] there is no time bar (sic) for us.
“But let the investigation be a 'sempurna' (complete) one, don't rush it,” he told a press conference at Bukit Aman in Kuala Lumpur this morning.
Mazlan also said police would question whoever deemed necessary.
“The investigation will be across the board,” he added.
As before, Mazlan declined to divulge details about the investigation, but said the dedicated taskforce for the case - which is led by the police and includes the MCMC - is working on it.
“We are conducting investigations daily and our task force has been meeting everyday,” he added.
Pressed further if the police believe that the videos were authentic, Mazlan again declined to comment as the case was under investigation.
