Malaysia's sprint queens win Asian Games 4x100m bronze medal

PETALING JAYA: The Malaysia women’s team bagged the Asian Games bronze medal in the 4x100m final at the Hangzhou Olympic Stadium on Tuesday (Oct 3).

The quartet of Shereen Samson Vallabuoy, Azreen Nabila Alias, Nur Afrina Batrisyia and Zaidatul Husniah Zulkilfli finished fourth with a time of 45.01.

But they were given a bronze after Bahrain was disqualified for lane infringement.

This is the first time the women’s 4x100m have won a medal in the Asiad. - Star
