Malaysia make it to semi-finals of Thomas Cup

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia have made it to the semi-finals of the Thomas Cup in Chengdu, China, after taking an unassailable 3-1 lead against Japan.

Malaysia’s winning point was secured by the second doubles pair of Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin, who beat Akira Koga-Taichi Saito in three games, 18-21, 21-15, 21-12.

Malaysia will meet the winner of the China-India match in the semi-finals. - FMT
