Break-in at Serdang MP's office, computer stolen

Serdang parliamentarian Teo Nie Ching's service centre in Balakong, Selangor, was broken into last night and a computer and a printer were taken away.

NONEHowever, the MP said, she felt it strange that the thief or thieves did not take RM400 that was kept in a drawer.

Teo said in a press statement today that her staff, named only as Loh, discovered the break-in upon arriving at the service centre at 10.45am today.

Teo, who is also DAP deputy publicity secretary, suspects the break-in to have taken place between last night and early this morning.

"We have lodged police report and we hope police can take action."

This is the second time in four months that she has become a victim of crime, she said, adding that her car was burglarised on July 13.

Despite lodging a police report then, Teo said, the police have not updated her on the progress of their investigation until now.
