Ikatan Muslimin Malaysia (Isma) has called on the government to investigate how Malay reserve land had been given to non-Malays.
Isma deputy president Aminuddin Yahya (left) said the perpetrators must be brought to justice.
He was responding to the Audit Report 2013, which reveaked that 9.74 ha of Malay reserve land had been given to non-Malays in Selangor.
“Isma urges the government to investigate this issue because it is a form of theft of Malay rights. And the Malays who are involved are traitors to the race,” he told IsmaWeb.
The Isma leader said the government must act swiftly so that the Malays do not end up as squatters in their own land.
“Don’t let our people become squatters in their own land. Perhaps there are similar cases in other states.
“So the government must act fast and also provide other land as alternative,” he added.
According to the report, the lands involved are in the Klang, Kuala Selangor and Sabak Bernam districts.
